How Domu Match Works
Sign up, complete a short quiz, and get matched with verified users who share your lifestyle. Students and young professionals are in separate pools. From profile to move-in in five clear steps.
Sign up & verify
Create your account and verify your identity so everyone here is real. Students use a university email; young professionals use their email. Both complete government ID verification.
- Government ID and selfie verification
- University email for students, or email for young professionals
- Basic profile and privacy settings
Why our process works
Verified people, clear reasons, and safety built in
Smart matching
We look at how you live day to day so we can suggest people who’d click - before any conflict starts.
Verified users only
Everyone verifies with government ID and selfie. You know you’re talking to real people in your pool - students or young professionals - not randoms.
Transparent matches
You see your compatibility score and why you matched. No mystery - just clear, explainable results.
Ready to meet people who’d fit at home?
Set up your profile in about 5–8 minutes. No commitment - just better fits.
Get started for freeVerified people. Calm, safe chat.
Everyone is government‑ID verified before they can chat. You can always block or report, and you stay in your life‑stage pool (students with students, professionals with professionals).
We don’t keep your ID photos — Persona runs the scan. We mainly store that you passed. What happens to my ID?
We check your ID. We don’t keep the photos.
Nervous about uploading your passport or driver’s licence? Fair. Persona runs the secure selfie + ID scan. Domu Match mainly keeps that you passed - so you’re matching with real people, not bots or banned accounts coming back under a new name.
No ID photos on our side
Your ID images and selfie stay with Persona for the check. Other users never see them.
Pass / fail is what sticks
Long-term we keep that you’re verified - so chat and matching stay people-only.
Extra details get scrubbed
